Taus / Mayuri Veena - String Instrument

The Taus instrument is a bowed instrument that originated from Punjab, India. Taus is the Persian word given by its crafter Guru Gobind Singh Ji, which translates as 'peacock'.

The smaller version of this instrument is known as the Dilruba and is the easiest instrument to play and one we highly recommend to beginners as they absolutely fall in love with the sound and the feeling of holding it.
